Yes, that’s exactly what Child Themes are for: altering templates without touching the parent templates.

So when you update the parent, all your changes will be untouched.

No I haven’t. Not manually anyway.

However, I did have the plugin ‘Restricted Site Access’ installed. Deactivating seems to solve the issue.

I’m mistaken. That “fix” just pushes the real bug further back.

I suspect the bug comes from the code jumping in and out of php. Somewhere there’s an escape that probably wasn’t unescaped.

Hmmm… I can’t find the bug at the moment.

Maybe I was seeing it in a cached page from before a site-wide plugin update?

I’ll let you know if I see it again, and how I’m squishing it.

Just checking in to let you know that I’m seeing this error in the current version of the plugin: Version 1.1.10

I’m going to see what I can do about it now. If I find a fix I’ll post here.
