Thank you for the reply. I realize I should have mentioned that my web host is yahoo which does the installation automatically. Thus, I should perhaps ask them to uninstall and re-install for me – would that be right? Sorry, I’m totally new at this.

Hi, I cant follow the directions in the tutorial because after i install phpMyAdmin and then login, the page only has the title of my blog – the remaining page is empty. I’m thinking that because I installed phpMyAdmin only after the deletion of a portion of the wordpress address, its not linking to my site at all. i tried to manually insert “/blog” but that does not work either.

any help is appreciated.
