I ran a plugin – WP Cerber Site integrity and replaced outdated top level wordpress files marked outdated by the scan and my site is working.
When I updated the site, I must not have manually updated these files (wp-settings.php , wp-links-opml.php, wp-load.php, etc.)

i replaced the theme with the one-older theme version.

I’m having a similar problem – the solution was to an older version of which – wordpress or portfolio press?

Now the error appears on the index page here: supah.com it breaks, but displays outside of the portfolio images over to the far right.

error is back after adding back menus and footers. i can’t get a break.

update:
I altered settings –> Blog pages show at most to be 999 and the error doesn’t appear.

only problem now is … no footers and no menus appearing on individual pages.

I tried contacting the author elsewhere and haven’t heard back. I am guessing he maybe responds to the paid version people only??? idk. https://wptheming.com/portfolio-press/

I added 81 posts per page just so the work didn’t vanish from access, but it’s a messy solution for me.

i don’t know what is happening. if anyone has a solution. some kind of code to manually enter was my first thought, but that link doesn’t load at all ( supah.com/page/2/ )

I am flummoxed.

my only bandaid is to set the blog posts to display as 81. which is kinda goofy.

I am having the same problem – upon clicking “Older Posts” the page wants to load “https://supah.com/page/2/&#8221; and then it just reloads the index page.

not sure how to fix this, but when I am in the site preview it functions.

Categories used to be functional as it stood. It would appear in the navigation. On the back end it’s still there, but no options for including specific tags (it doesn’t seem to find any tags) and so nothing appears in my navigation.

I could manually create a menu with links, but i already know it won’t work because the pages are not the same as portfolio tags.

I activated a different theme, then activated portfolio press. no luck. Do you think it might be a cache issue with the database?
If i upgrade to portfolio+ will that fix it?

I am freaking out because none of my portfolio category based navigation is functional. I’m not sure which update did this, it just suddenly turned up blank.

anyone have a fix or an explanation? I have the portfolio post type installed. Tired disabling and then enabling and that didn’t work.

Pages are now loading! The culprit may have been a security plugin that was functioning after deactivating it.

My current issue is that the normal screen that used to appear like this https://archive.today/W8xgh

with the 9 recent posts appearing on the main/index page does not load.

it’s almost like the problem FLIPPED.

the current (messed up) url is https://supah.com

The page loads properly if you click https://supah.com/home/ but this is not where my website is supposed to be. it’s supposed to be at the top level.
