In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Ad not displaying but debug says it is!I copied the adsense code and put it into a text advertisement. I used the peepso stream placement for it and it works fine, so I’ve marked this as resolved.
It’s not the integration I was hoping for but its an adequate work-around.
Thanks

In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Ad not displaying but debug says it is!I looked at the ad parameters and set type to “normal” and reserved 250×250 space for it. It is now showing in the widget at that size, but still not in the peepso feed. I thought it would have taken the ad parameters from adsense, but for some reason it didn’t.

In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Ad not displaying but debug says it is!Hi Joachim
although I added a fixed size ad, it is showing as responsive – I don’t know why that should be.

In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Ad not displaying but debug says it is!Hi Joachim
I have done that. I now get 2 advertisements shown in the widget, but still none from the integration.
I think however that you won’t be able to help. I contacted peepso support and they have replied…
Hello Andrew, Sorry for the delayed response. The only way to place the ad in PeepSo activity stream is by using the PeepSo Stream Ad option when creating a new Ad (as shown on the image attached). To use Google Adsense, it would probably require the additional code modification (example found here: https://www.peepso.com/documentation/filter-advanced-ads-stream-ad-html/) in order to allow specific tags required by Adsense code (like <iframe> or <script>). I hope this helps.
It appears that their integration will not support Adsense ads. Obviously, if you can figure a way around it, that would be great.
I can provide wordpress admin and ftp access details if required, but obviously don’t want to provide those in a public forum.

In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Refused to frame errorHi Joachim
I checked with my ISP and reviewed the .htaccess file. There was no CSP directives in it. I experimented by adding some and then removing them. It was having an effect – I managed to destroy the site’s style for example! I’ve not been able to reproduce this issue however. I’ve asked the peepso support people where they saw the error, because I can’t find it. When I open the console there is no mention of it.I’ve marked this as resolved and will create a new ticket with more information if I can find more evidence.
Thanks

In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Ad not displaying but debug says it is!Hi Joachim
I’ve tried the “dummy ad” and that displays correctly embedded in the peepso activity feed.
I changed the adsense ad to fixed size, but it still didn’t display. If I turn on auto ads, then an ad appears in the header and if I ad the advanced ads widget, that too displays an advertisement.
I’ve not seen any errors, but to be honest, I don’t know where to look.
The site password protected but the activity feed (and the dummy ad i’ve included in it) is visible to logged out users.
Thanks
Andy
