Hmm, thanks for getting back to me. I have run it several times today but the score does not improve back up to the 98 that it had been sitting at. Also it appears to continually score lower on the desktop figure which just doesn’t make sense as the only change was the update.

The only saving grace is that when I check the site with Page Insight Speed everything seems to be working well. Both mobile and desktop are showing in the 90 to 100 range.

Thank you Maybellyne – it was really simple in the end. I had updated a user profile and I needed to once again remove the tick from the checkboxes. Thanks for your help.

1. Confirm that you have the right user permissions? You can check by going to WordPress > Users > Your Profile > Yoast SEO settings. Ensure that?Disable SEO analysis?and?Disable readability analysis?are unchecked,
