I hadn’t thought to look for the settings there. That’s very nice!
I have changed it now and it looks much better because it’s now in the same language as the rest of the page. Thanks!
BTW: you have a typo at the setting for “Placholder Text”
Here I meant the actual content – that which shows up after the password is entered correctly. But I take it then that I need to do it with HTML/CSS and can’t do it by clicking buttons like in Elementor.
As for the “protected area” – can this be changed in the free version to another language? I can’t seem to change it through the plugin I usually use for translations.
Thank you, there was no shortcode!
This settled all of it for me ??So simple and yet a bit tricky – at least you have to know that a shortcode is used.
The only thing I can think of that I haven’t checked in all the menus is the WP Ocean (theme) template for lessons. Each lesson is set to “theme” under the template, but I can’t find this template anywhere inside the WordPress panel.
Hi again @nrherron
This is exactly what I have set up now. I was just curious if it could be done automatically. But either way that’s not too important. Thanks for your response @nrherron ! Much appreciated ??
In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zRNHU9k9Iw
he makes a new template and chooses “lesson” as the type. However, I can only choose between “page” and “section”. Has there been a big change since this video?I’m starting to think I can’t see any of the templates I have made myself under attributes for the lessons. When I see “theme” in there, I think it’s a default from Ocean WP theme.
I can’t believe it’s taken hours for me to set this up, should be so so simple.
It seems like I can make this work when creating new lesson AFTER adding a second template, so a few questions:
Can I have more than one template and switch between which one is active?
Can I apply a template to existing lessons? Or do they need to be created after a template is made?Is there any particular reason why the template I had before starting with Lifter LMS did not affect my lessons but this new one (made in exactly the same way) affects new lessons?
Thanks for the thorough answer @nrherron !
I had thought I would have to create a voucher manually and send them. But are you saying that this could be automatic, so teachers enters x into the quantity field and is sent a voucher covering x licenses?
And if so: Would this require I buy the Woo-Commerce add-on which then in itself is enough to set this up?I might need this explained very simply since I’m quite tired from starting out this whole LMS thing over the last week.
The check-out page that comes up for me is this:
https://www.forlagetdefacto.dk/purchase/?plan=1463I have options to change most of these fields under Lifter LMS general settings.
Can I edit this page manually as well?
Whether I set the voucher setting to optional or obligatory, it doesn’t show up for the user. The only option that shows on the signup page is for rebate codes. Why is it not possible at default for users to use a voucher and how do I let them do this?
I’m a little confused by this:
“With LifterLMS Groups you will be able to:
Sell courses and memberships to a group buyer”Isn’t the idea about the coupons that these should enable this? Like give a buyer a coupon that covers x licenses?
Also if I go with Lifter LMS without paying for a group add-on: will there be any possibility of each class being separated into a group so that teachers can see how their students did on a quiz or write something to all the students inside Lifter LMS?
