  • I have this same issue and am similarly amazed that this is not a problem for more people. I can add classes to the styles.css file included with the CF7 plugin, but it does not recognize any font I set.

Thanks for this post. I am using WP 2.9.2 and Contact Form 7 2.1.1.

There is no stylesheet.css file under: /wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/

However, there is styles.css and styles-rtl.css under this directory. I have attempted to add CSS code here and reference it in the contact form unsuccessfully. CF7 functions well (can send all e-mails fine); however, I have yet to get the style to update. What css files need to be edited to get the style to update? I have tried css on the CF7 form, the contact me page the form is loaded to, and on my theme’s css. Nothing can change the style. What am I missing here?

Thank you for your reply! I have heard about an ecommerce plugin for wordpress. Are there many settings that will threaten the integrity the site? Is it more vulnerable to getting hacked than other solutions? I plan to use Paypal or some other transaction service to deal with all the financial information because I don’t want the liability involved there. The only data I want to collect is e-mail addresses for the newsletters.
