Oh Boy!
So I deactivated all but Tablepress – logged out and back in.My website went crazy with warnings, but I looked at Tablepress and it still is smushed cells.
So I activated my plugs and now I have a lot of work to do with the plugins. And it showed I was now logged in twice –
I see…
As I deactivate plugins can I check Tablepress, or do I have to log out and back in to see any changes? Are plugin affects instant, or is there a waiting period?
And what about Tablepress plugins?

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Paying for a feature….Super Tobias ??
Do you have a tips and tricks page for TablePress?
I hate to post support tickets for every save-me-time question….Thanks bunches,
Yea, I’ve tried the duplicate feature, but it doesn’t work how I need so it’s more of a pain than help – like copy/paste (copy = duplicate and paste = move ??
And for #3 I’ll give it a try, but dragging for 200+ rows is going to be another pain me thinks.
Glad to hear your on top of things Tobias, your the best!

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Table ordering questionSuper, as only the one table per one page, my links link to the page ?? Love it. No blog either.
Also, asking my last question in a different way:
If I copy a table does it copy the Extensions (reverse order) I used in the original table?
I like the way I’ve set my tables up, and was looking for a short cut in passing things on to this years tables, this is why I ask.Thank you ~ again

In reply to: Help with WP [tags]Oh, I understand now.
In that case I can just ignore it. It was part of a template page, that I have now edited to fit my needs.
Thanks Kim!

In reply to: Help with WP [tags]Oh yes, when I add a plugin shortcode into a page they too use the brackets [ ]
but what I’m speaking of here is used in place of reg html to apply pre-set formatting such as [section extra=header-top]Header text here[/section].It is not CSS or HTML as I know them, but I can see the results are operating just like CSS & HTML.
Is there a file in the theme or place where I can look these up…. would they be in a style sheet of some kind?
Is it okay to use reg HTML instead? As you can see from my examples they are being used for things like header, paragraph, sections, etc. and so they replace <div> <p> <span>, but they come with extra formatting usually margins.
I have removed all I’ve found, which wasn’t much, so there isn’t any page you could view them on really. But my theme is NativeChurch, and I’m totally new to WP so I’m unfamiliar with these bracket tags instead of HTML. I tend to mess with things to learn, but this can cause trouble later. So I’m wondering how important using these bracket tags are, and if they can be replaced with html. Or if I could look them up somewhere in my theme and learn how to use them…..
The expensive support has run out, so I’m trying to understand this on my own ??
Thanks
That is much better, thank you Tobias
Oh, I just clicked on a field and sure enough it opened up to 300px…. I did not expect this as I could see the changes to the length as I went.
So back to the question in my original post, trying to figure out the text-field box behavior –
Editing the php file height will cause the field boxes to “open up” to the px I specify – when clicked-on only, but their length does show when the page is loaded – correct?Hum, I have certain columns that can remain standard/small, while others have anchor tags, etc. that would be nice to scan through without having to click each one. Is it possible, without breaking tablepress, to add more specifications to the php file for the sizes?
Our tables will contain hundreds of items, so I ask ?? Thanks for all your expertise.
Okay, I did edit the php file (thank you for the path). And the fields are longer, and this helps, but no matter how I change the height the fields stay the same height. Right now I have it set to 300×300 but I’m seeing 300×96 unless I change them by hand, individually. Any suggestions?
Also, there isn’t any way to set individual columns is there?
Thanks Tobias,
