When we use filter “wpseo_exclude_from_sitemap_by_post_ids” it deletes the id we add but it adds one more homepage link so there are now to homepage links on “page-sitemap.xml” i.e. we now see two links for https://www.abc.com? Is this a plugin bug or is there something missing?

I think I found the way to manage it. You have helped me in that. Thank you again.
We have three different sites that use this plugin and strangely one site doesn’t show the “Language button design option” but two sites have those settings. Please see the screenshot of no settings and with settings

The one site has “Where will the language button be on my website? By default, bottom right.” and other two has different settings as in the second screenshot. When checked in Weglot there is no option to hide/display those settings.

Are we missing anything for the first site that the options are not displaying?

Thank you for the response. We are actually using the wordpress plugin. We want language selected as drop down. In the dropdown full name should be displayed and when selected the respective country code should display. Please see the link for the screenshot.

In the backend wp plugin has two locations to display the switcher, in the menu and in the footer (Default). We want to place the language switcher on the right side (at the right edge) of the page.

Can you please advise how this can be managed?

@mateuszgbiorczyk Sure I will try. You have provided the example of the image. Can we exclude the folder as well like the uploads/2024?

@mateuszgbiorczyk Like I mentioned main site has one wp set up (files, plugins etc) and other two have one wp set up, just the files and plugins and they are copy of the main site but in a different folder.

Not sure if your exclusion feature works on this case. Please advise.

We just change the url while vising the UK and NZ sites. When we upload the images on main site they are again copied to the respective uploads folder of these sites. Does this help?

This is not the multisite as you said. The two of the later sites share the database from the main site. The NZ an UK sites are in one folder and main site in one folder. Hope this helps.

When I enabled the plugin it only works for main site “abc.com” but not for other sites”mysite1.com, mysite2.com”. Please be advised that the same database is shared between all three sites. Basically if webP works for other two sites “mysite1.com, mysite2.com” that would be great. Please advise if that is possible.
However if that is not possible the folders that I would like to exclude are as listed below:
1. public_html/mysite1/wp-content/uploads
2. public_html/mysite2/wp-content/uploads

As you mentioned the original image is not replaced by compressed one. Please see the screenshot in this link. We can see the first image is scaled image and the last one the original image and it has the same size I have uploaded.

Please note that I have ticked “Original image (overwritten by compressed image)”. Can you please advise what could be the issue here as in why the original image is not compressed?
