  • Hi, Yorman… I am using plugin “Sucuri Security – Auditing, Malware Scanner and Hardening”, Version Version 1.7.9. My WordPress Settings > General > TimeZone has been set to Los Angeles, but the logs show the UTC time, which makes it difficult, since I have to remember to subtract 7 hours for every log entry. I tried changing my WP settings TimeZone to UTC-7 to see if it would make a difference, then I tested by doing a failed login, but the logs still show the UTC time. I still do not see any settings within the plugin to set a time zone.

@formattingissue– in case you haven’t figured it out yet, you go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks (it’s one of the WP settings). If it resolved your issue, will you post back here?

That’s right… not all websites are WordPress sites… but you can try looking at the source view of a website to see if it is a WordPress website, then you can see the name of the active theme. This can usually be accomplished by simply doing a right-click on a blank spot within your browser window, and choosing “View Source” or “View Page Source.” (Read more about how to view the page source in different browsers: https://blog.kissmetrics.com/how-to-read-source-code/.)

This will open a new window with the website code in it. Then you want to use the “Find” command (normally in the “Edit” menu)– or use the keyboard shortcut Control F (PC) or Command F (Mac) and type in “wp-content/themes” as your search term (you will probably see a search box open up either in the bottom or the top of your window). Press return and the first instance of the phrase “wp-content/themes” will be highlighted. The word or words that come after the slash next to “wp-content/themes” is the theme name (for example “wp-content/themes/twentyten.” Once you know the theme name, you can Google it, or search for it on https://www.ads-software.com/themes/.

(By the way, Control G (PC) or Command G (Mac) will take you to the next instance of your search term.)

Hmmm… CDN… had to look that up… and the answer is, I have no idea, I don’t think so. You might mistake me for somebody who understands this stuff, but I know enough to be dangerous, and that’s not that much! What kind of server? My hosting co. is StableHost, and below is what they show, not sure if it answers the question (and hope this is not too much info about me out in cyberspace):
    Server Name phx12
    cPanel Version 11.44.1 (build 18)
    Theme stablehost
    Apache version 2.2.29
    PHP version 5.3.29
    MySQL version 5.5.36-cll-lve
    Architecture x86_64
    Operating system linux
    Dedicated IP Address 198.143.138.44
    Path to sendmail /usr/sbin/sendmail
    Path to Perl /usr/bin/perl
    Perl version 5.10.1
    Kernel version 2.6.32-531.1.2.lve1.2.54.el6.x86_64
    cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)

Looks like I have 1024 MB of virtual memory usage and 3072 MB of physical memory of usage on the server… although that domain is in a hosting account with three other domains– none of which is that active. Right now my hosting account shows 14/3072 MB usage for physical memory, and nothing for virtual.

    Thanks for your interest!

Hi, thanks for the fast reply. I turned off ALL my plugins, except for All In One WP Security & Firewall, and the images are back to question marks.

Then I unchecked Prevent Hotlinks and the images came back. Then I switched themes to TwentyFourteen (I was already using a default WordPress theme, TwentyTen)– turned on the Prevent Hotlinks, and the images all disappeared again.

    Thanks for the suggestions, though.

I was also having a problem with not getting email notifications… I was getting them… then it stopped… I hadn’t made any changes to the website.

I spend hours running around this issue today… and MAYBE I found the solution… but after making so many changes am not even sure…

It seems that when I put in more than one address under General Settings under Default Address it did not send the email to either…

When I went to the Manage Forms section and used the More Options for each form, I could put in multiple addresses in the Destination Email field, and then it worked.

At one point I used Export All CCF Plugin Content (under General Settings, near bottom)– deactivated, then reactivated CCF, then with a bit of trepidation used the Import function (bottom of General Settings) — and perhaps this solved some issues.

    Good luck.

Whoo hoo! I’d been struggling for an EASY way to develop a WordPress site without having to move databases and files and change URL’s, etc., etc. — everything seemed so complicated! What a great solution… I am thrilled.

I had already created a simple temporary page and I wanted to use that rather than just have straight text… so I was excited to see you had an option for the html… I had a little problem at first, not being an html person (always creating in something else, then copying the code).

I found that by creating the page in NVU (which is a free webpage program) I could switch to the Source view and copy and paste that code into your Under Construction Page HTML field — and it works perfectly. I even added a Login link to the bottom of that page, so that the people I am doing this website for can login easily without even having to remember the login URL.

Thank you SO much for this simple solution to my problem!

BTW… I could not find a link to YOUR website on the https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/underconstruction/?topic_id=8707 page… I had to google you.
