Okay, just made my Test post. The url is test post

Hmmmm. Now it’s NOT showing at the bottom. It showed when I first made and published a test post, a couple of hours ago, and it’s not showing at the bottom of my About Me page, either.

I’ve had a lot of general training about starting a blog, but hardly any of that training delved into tech issues. Usually, just a few Do this, do that, start writing, publish, et voila’. ??

Thank you, @citra. What a possible “DOH” moment! I never think to log OUT of my site! Maybe that will work?

Well, I tried it, but, since it hasn’t been “published” yet, the “page/post” disappeared. I did take a screen shot, just not sure how to get it here.

I’ll re-login, then make a test post, publish it, then show you the url.

Creating a dummy wordpress site is a new idea me. Makes sense. Would it ever go public, in order to “see” how/if certain things might be working, or would that be handled in the “View Site” portion of the dashboard? Do we Just buy “my fake blog” domain, and use that? I guess we could also click the “do not show this site to Google” button in our dashboard settings.

Thanks for the other info, I’ll follow those links asap.
