In reply to: fatal errorThat’s what I was just thinking. I can’t get into my theme for the admin panel, because it says, “You do not have sufficient permissions.”
Can I work on it via filezilla? And, how do I get my permissions back?
Thanks.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: css fileYes, my host figured out that when I ran the “backup wordpress” it somehow (maybe the path I created?) In the wp-content directory there was a .htaccess file.
This had one line:
deny from allThis meant that nothing from the wp-content directory was allowed to be served via HTTP (the theme could not be read).
I removed that line from the .htaccess file and now everything looks great!

In reply to: what is the name of the file that holds the postIs anybody else out there? Shadow started to work on this — but his time is now up — I don’t think he made it into my phpmyadmin to see anything. But, I did the import — and now when I type in https://www.triathletedad.com, I’m getting this page:
WordPress database error: [Table ‘triathletedad.wp_terms’ doesn’t exist]
SELECT t.*, tt.*, tr.object_id FROM wp_terms AS t INNER JOIN wp_term_taxonomy AS tt ON tt.term_id = t.term_id INNER JOIN wp_term_relationships AS tr ON tr.term_taxonomy_id = tt.term_taxonomy_id WHERE tt.taxonomy IN (‘category’, ‘post_tag’) AND tr.object_id IN (3, 1) ORDER BY t.name ASCThe good new? My posts appear to be in tact.

In reply to: what is the name of the file that holds the postAn triathletedad.sql. I just hit import, dropped the file in (phpmyadmin), and hit go. Very quickly it was done. I just checked — the posts are not there. There was no error message.

In reply to: what is the name of the file that holds the postI’m doing it in the wordpress admin page — import. I saw two instructions for phpmyadmin on the wordpress codex, and one said I needed to dump the tables first, and the other didn’t. Then, I found this method from wordpress admin.

In reply to: what is the name of the file that holds the postThe files that show up in the browser do not have suffixes. It’s list that looks like the files in filezilla, wpadmin, wpcontent, etc.
