Now, I just upgraded to the latest WP2.2.3, and now it’s happening all day. I have fastway, and then an hour later, it moves to the default wordpress blog. What can I do?

I found it — uploads. It’s loading now, and the images are popping back up.

Do I load the wordpress file into the directory “reviews”, under wordpress?

OK, I see what you mean. I created a “directory” in filezilla like this

Go to the folder in filezilla that currently contains things like wp-admin,
wp-includes, wp-content etc – then right click, create directory – call it
reviews or whatever – then double click on the reviews folder to open it.

Then just download wordpress on your computer, open the wordpress folder,
select everything in it (ctrl-a is a good shortcut) then drag it into your
reviews folder in filezilla ?? If it asks you if you want to overwrite
something then STOP STOP STOP – means you’re accidentally dragging the files
into your existing blog directory.

That’s what I have now. — but I think I’m missing a step, because I cannot post from there. It says, file not found.

I’m thinking — about your suggestion. I don’t think that would work. I need a separate web page, still connected to my blog that will only show reviews. They should not be on https://www.susiej.com
rather on https://www.susiej.com/reviews

Actually, it’s https://www.susiej.com/wordpress/reviews/wordpress — and then it changes my theme to the default wordpress theme.

Re-installed — and still the same error.

I checked the site error’s https://benjamin.smedbergs.us/wordpress-atom-1.0/, and it said I should install a plug in for wordpress, but it doesn’t say what version of wordpress it’s for — so I”m not sure if it will work:

Doing that. Now I’m wondering what the wordpress backup plug-in is for?

I very much appreciate your help. There is only one yellow folder, out of the 10 listed in filezilla that says WordPress — and that is the only one I need to download to my hard drive?

If copy each yellow folder from filezilla (i.e., private,_ vti_cnf, vti_log, wordpress, etc.) to my harddrive, that’s a backup? That’s easy.

I’m not finding the specific .htaccess file on filezilla.

So, in filezilla, how would I do that?
