This usually happens when a theme package a plugin inside it. I still have the same issue on other (premium) theme, but I deal with it (ignore it)

after installing a new plugin, the counter stuck again on 1 update available, but all of them are up to date.

should i really do re-install every time I add a new plugin?

re-installing wordpress fix the problem

Well I can just make a folder then create a new .htaccess with RedirectMatch there.

Still curious about the problem though. I’ll keep the topic stay at ‘not resolved’ just in case someone come with new idea

the admin regex, redirect to wp-login.php
the others redirect to my social account and some long bookmark

The regex set for my RedirectMatch are

^/admin$
^/@$
^/\+$
^/da$
^/fdl$

yeah sure, surprised to know that we (regular users) can actually mark a topic resolved

and this makes me worry

I have problems too with this
what if I want to remove the avatar, it makes my sidebar that funny looks
perhaps the plugin author would consider making the avatar above the links

I wonder why it not functioning that time

i’ve got the same problem on every upgrade i try
i hope the author of this plugin would reply to this problem
