Would it be possible to include a way to stop someone using a free trial coupon over and over again by just changing their email address?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Default Location Not WorkingHi,
I tried using the Shop base address in the Calculate tax based on setting but this means a customer pays tax even when they don’t need to so this isn’t a solution to the issue.
Our prices are already set to include tax too so that hasn’t solved the issue either.
The issue seems to be caused by the country the user has selected being automatically deleted from the checkout dropdown.
In the video example (https://imgur.com/UGRDyI3) I add a £50 product to the cart and then go to the checkout. The country has been selected as the UK which is correct but when I go back to the shopping cart the tax has been removed so the product is now £41.67 and when I go back to the checkout the country box is now empty. Why does this happen?
Thanks

In reply to: [Price Based on Country for WooCommerce] Price changed after purchaseHi,
I understand that the £29.17 price is lower because the tax has been removed but we want to charge £35 as this is the price we have set for the product using the plugin.
Is there a way to charge this price?
The product type is a Virtual, Downloadable and is a subscription.
Thanks

In reply to: [Price Based on Country for WooCommerce] Price changed after purchaseHi Oscar,
Thanks for responding to me so quickly. We’re not changing the currency. We only use pounds sterling (£) so the currency shown through the process stays the same.
The correct price is shown on the product page (https://i.imgur.com/pLi2hfN.jpg)
The correct price is shown on the shopping basket page (https://i.imgur.com/jedwp4R.jpg)
The correct price is shown on the checkout page (https://i.imgur.com/08KRiqO.jpg)
The correct price is shown on the checkout page after the customer details have been filled in (https://i.imgur.com/AP75ePv.jpg)
But once the payment has been processed the price has been changed (https://i.imgur.com/CkxWLyr.jpg)
Doesn’t the plugin actually change the product price based on where the customer is?
Many thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Critical Error After Update To 8.6.0Hi @shameemreza,
We’ve just updated to the latest version and everything seems to be okay so thank you for fixing the issue so quickly, we appreciate it.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Critical Error After Update To 8.6.0Hi @shameemreza, we’ve reverted back to the previous version of WooCommerce (8.5.2) because we know that works. We’ll wait for the issue to be resolved before we try again.
I understand what you’re saying about keeping plugins up to date but that’s hard when they are updated every month. At £200 per year for each plugin this would cost us thousands every year and we can’t afford that. If plugin developers were really concerned with the security of their plugins they would provides security patches for free.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Critical Error After Update To 8.6.0No our version of WooCommerce Subscriptions isn’t up to date, we can’t afford to spend £200 a year for a plugin that already does what we need it to. This is one of the issues using WooCommerce, you are forced to update the plugins regularly and there doesn’t seem to be any benefit to this.
Hi Gregor,
Thanks for your reply. After further discussions with our host I think the issue may have been down to them changing our website servers so the settings were not matching up. Apologies for raising the issue as it doesn’t look like it’s down to your plugin.
Cheers,
Rob
