Thanks, that fixed it!
From looking at the forum, it seems that it used to be unchecked by default, but was changed/broken in one of the updates..
I’d also like to be able to make the “Free Event” checkbox “unchecked”by default. It’s not an option in the plugin settings is it possible?

In reply to: [Social Viral Downloader] Changing text with imageThis doesn’t seem to work for me. This is what I’ve got in my shortcode:
[viraldownloader id=13383 text='<img src=”https://www.myimagelinkgoeshere.net/facebook-share-fordownload.png”>’%5D
The post just displays the word “download” as if there was no custom text at all.
If I do it the way you suggest above:
[viraldownloader id=13383 text=<img src=’https://www.myimagelinkgoeshere.net/facebook-share-fordownload.png’%5D
The links just shows the text <img

Many thanks
Switching themes doesn’t help, it just totally messes the look of my site with no sidebars, widgets or anything so I can’t give you an answer as to whether that is the solution.
I guess I’ll just have to live with it as is. Thanks for the effort trying to troubleshoot for me.
All correct. The only thing I can think of is some sort of conflict with the Arras theme.
It’s correct, just a typo in my previous post..
This is the path to the empty template file but it’s still showing the cart widget with the empty cart text.
wp-content/themes/arras/edd_templates/widget-carty-empty.php
I’m still struggling with this. What I did was create a folder in my WordPress theme called
eddtemplates
(as showed in the video) copied thewidget-carty-empty.php
file to the folder, opened it and emptied the contents.Result: Nothing looked different.
I then made a backup of the
widget-carty-empty.php
file and edited the copy directly in thetemplates
folder of the plugin.Result: There was no text in the widget saying Your cart is empty but the widget was still there in the sidebar.
What I am aiming for is to completely hide the widget when there is nothing in the cart, so it won’t even appear in the sidebar.
No problems with some basic file editing..
