Make sure you check to make sure you disabled all plugins. In 3.1, it paginates our WordPress plugins so, if you had a lot, the culprit plugin may be on page 2. Specifically, if you have the Simple Tags plugin, make sure it is disabled or, in settings for it, uncheck the first option. Other than that, I’m not sure what to say. WP 3.1 brought a lot of cool new features and also headaches for many people.

If you have Simple Tags plugin, try disabling it. May not be helpful but, worth a shot.

Yes, thank God I found this thread. Should be hitting blogs with this, as I’m sure others experienced this and are near tears.

It worked for me now, too. After the revert, I disabled simple tags before doing the upgrade. No issues! Whew. I like the new updates, by the way. The front-end interface is worth a million bucks.

I ended up reverting to 3.0 and the issue was resolved, incidentally. I am now scared to update.

This happened to me also. I disabled all plugins and still had the issue. My theme developer says that he has tested it fully in 3.1 and it works well. So, I’m up crap creek. Feels like I can’t do any critical updates as things stand.

I need help with this desperately. I’m running banner ads in my sidebar which are certainly not showing up in Analytics. I need the data to show to my customers at month end. Luciano, where do I put this code? Could you try to be as specific as possible for me? I could find no documentation on this anywhere in this latest version. Thank you.
