The versions I did try to upgrade to were 2.6 and 2.6.1, but had to reinstall 2.5.1 after being unsuccessful with the updates.
Server is Windows. I contacted my host server who was unable to upgrade my blog successful because we are not able to login to my blog through admin. That is the major problem can’t login when we did the upgrades. So reason for the reinstallation of previous version 2.5.1, which I have no problems logging on. Hope you understand what is the problem about not being able to log in.

I can see why people are getting more frustrated. No replies in almost 24 hours. Can someone PLEASE help me? Is there a moderator or a technology person working to fix these problems??

The only suggestion I can give everyone is do a backup of previous version first before downloading “newest version” on your computer in a folder where you know you can find it in case the “newest” version is not working properly. That way when the “newest version” e.g. 2.6 is not working properly, not letting you log in, etc. You can go back into your FTP for your blog and delete newest version folders and files and reinstall the previous version. That is what I did today after working on version 2.6 for over an hour. Went back to 2.5.1. It has been 13 days since the newest release and WordPress has not fixed the main problem with this upgrade yet!
