List Posts in 3 Column Lists

Hello,
This is my first post so please be kind.
My client required a new wordpress template although I am new to using it and so far have found it to be GREAT!

It is a community arts site that shows off local artists, exhibitions etc.

They want the artists page to simply be a list of artists names (the post headings I guess) under an “Artists” category. They want this to be in a 3 column list, alphabetically if possible.
pretty much the same look as this site.

I was hoping one of the pro’s out there would know a plugin or widget they could point me towards? If not how it can be achieved.
