In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Can’t connect JetpackHi @taenzerdigital,
I checked some settings on my end, and it looks like there was a small adjustment that needed to be made to the site settings on our end. Your settings were not showing that the http site is redirecting to the https site, and we couldn’t see on our end that your site was built in a subdirectory. I have fixed both of these issues, so reconnecting Jetpack shouldn’t be an issue.
Before reconnecting Jetpack, please confirm that your site’s Core WordPress settings are configured correctly for your site’s subdirectory setup. These instructions should help with that.
Once that’s completed, please reinstall Jetpack using these instructions: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reinstalling-jetpack. Let us know once this is completed, and we can take a second look.
Hi @miarr0wporg,
Thanks for reaching out. It looks like you have WP Fastest Cache installed, which has the ability to minify JavaScript. There is a known issue with Jetpack where plugins that minify JavaScript can break Jetpack features.
As a first step, please ensure that this feature is not active on your site.
If you’re still having issues after ensuring that feature is disabled, and you’ve cleared caches again, please contact us and mention this thread.
Hi @marketingmark,
When I go to your site, I see that the page is hidden behind a login screen.
I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Preload error v.1.10.0Hey @athannor,
I’ve pinged the devs for some help on this one. Either another support rep or a plugin author will be back in touch.
Hey @epogeetravisb,
I can see on our end that you had a successful subscriber migration a few hours ago. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, we’re going to need to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack connection to Store@maeastxwest thanks for sending that link!
I took a look at your site, and I’m getting this error:
cURL error 28: Failed to connect to 154.0.171.135 port 443 after 10001 ms: Timeout was reached
We usually see this error message when there’s something blocking our IP addresses from accessing your site’s xmlrpc.php (needed for the Jetpack connection to work) or if there’s some kind of performance issue with the site. I did some checking on performance, and GTMetrix didn’t give the site a favorable score.
Please check in with your host on a couple of things:
- Ensure that they have our long list of IP addresses allowed: https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-allowlist-jetpack-ip/
- Ensure that you have enough server memory to run your site. I see that you have WooCommerce running as well, and that plugin recommends at least 256MB of WordPress memory.

Hi @tarotfellow!
Before we move forward with any changes to how Jetpack syncs your site, we need to understand how it’s performing currently.
Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?

Hey @chunkiebone!
We’d like to better understand how what is happening. Can you tell us more about what breaks on your site when you’re using Jetpack Boost?

Hi @liconixweb,
I’ll be replying in English, but you can respond to me in French, and I’ll enter your messages into Google Translate, I hope that’s ok.
I translated your last message as:
Good morning, I did not reply to the previous message, because I have not noticed any change since. Despite my settings that do not block XML-RPC, I always have the same message on your debug console: Tools >Debug Debug Could not fetch your site data We were unable to fetch the data from your Jetpack-powered site, the communication channel seems to be broken. If you continue to get this error, please check out our troubleshooting guide or contact support. However, my link https://www.annemariebougret.fr/xmlrpc.php does display the following message: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only. So, I will say that the problem still persists. I don't see where the bug can come from, because the only security plugin that could block is that of JetPack, since I removed Tiger Protect. Thank you in advance for telling me where the problem could come from. Sincerely, Liconixweb
When I view your xmlrpc.php via the web browser I’m still receiving the 404 error message that my colleagues mentioned above. Since the xmlrpc.php isn’t accessible, Jetpack cannot make a proper connection, leading to the syncing issues.
I’m also seeing 502 Bad Gateway error messages come through on my end. This typically indicates that the response that we’re getting back from your server is not consistently the “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only” response that is needed.
I would recommend contacting your hosting provider and asking them to check their logs for 404s and 502s that include our IP addresses: https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-allowlist-jetpack-ip/. They should be able to determine the cause and help you address this on their end.
If you continue to experience issues after that, please contact us via this contact form and mention this thread.
Hey @shagasi,
This is going to require some additional troubleshooting.
At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.
