What version of WordPress are you using? Also, I just rolled out a version of Advertising Manager which does not enable until Adsense Manager is totally disabled (v3.3.14). Please test and let me know the results.

Do you have Adsense Manager still enabled? It looks like you do. Can you try to disable Adsense Manager and see how that works? I also rolled a new version (3.3.14) which automatically detects this issue.

You are right – the message slipped between Adsense Manager and Advertising Manager. Hopefully, the fix that I just posted will solve the banner issue.

Advertising Manager is a major upgrade to Adsense Manager. Please bear with us through this necessary upgrade so that Martin and I can both focus solely on adding functionality to Advertising Manager rather than two separate projects.

It looks like upgrading instructions were deleted somehow from the website. I will spend some time tomorrow updating them. In a nutshell, follow these instructions:

1. Deactivate Adsense Manager.
2. Install Advertising Manager.
3. There will be a message that tells you that Adsense Manager settings were upgraded to Advertising Manager. Hit ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the banner.

All of your settings should be imported into Advertising Manager, and there is no need to modify your templates.

Something more comprehensive should be available tomorrow.

Ok – this was a notice that was put in by Adsense Manager. I added a little ‘clean-up’ script which will remove this notice. 3.3.13 should be up in a few minutes.

Can you describe where you see the banner? I also made a slight fix to ensure that the Optimisation banner disappears (3.3.13 will go up tonight), but from what you describe, it sounds like an AdSense Manager banner. I will discuss with Martin (Adsense Manager lead dev) and get this fixed.
