I don’t know if it would help, but you could try to comment out the redirect in quiz-master-next/php/class-qsm-install.php and see if the upgrade finishes succesfully after that. But do a website backup before.

It would be really great if the author removed the redirect to ?page=qsm_about. Instead, there could be a banner on top of the page, advising the user to go there manually.

I have assumed it was due to updating your plugin to 17.0.0 because that was the only major thing that changed on my website but I was wrong – sorry about that.

After downgrading to 16.2.0 the problem persisted, so I assume that something else must be causing this. I will try disabling plugins one by one to see where the issue originates.

I have it on a multisite and it works

Hi,
thank you for reminding me about this review, as stated in the edit, I’ve returned to yoast some time ago and I have to say that I no longer experience any problems on a multisite, so I’ve changed the rating. I can’t wait for WordPress 4.7 and the ability to set my admin panel to English, as I expect that the translation may not be perfect and recommendations wrongly translated in certain contexts. I’ll probably change my vote to 5/5 then.

After 7 month this issue has still not been fixed.

We are not talking about the polish translation of WP itself but of the blog posts about new releases. If someone wants to contribute they will go through trac or list of revisions to look for changes that may impact thir projects anyway – and none of this are translated.

If you’ve read the previous posts you will see that

I don’t want them to improve because I see no benefit from the changelog being translated. To the contrary, had the translation not existed in the first place, the current problem would never come to be.

Removing them is a better solution because:
a) They are not useful anyway
b) They are preventing people from seeing an up-to-date changelog
c) If they do not exist no effort is necessary beyond the one-time action of deleting them, while if someone decides to update them, it will require continuous unpaid work.

What syntax highlighting scheme are you using in Notepad++? I did not see WordPress there and choosing html makes the shortcodes look like a mess.

Same issue in Firefox.

I have the same issue.

I really hope they will fix that as even restoring the site from a complete backup to a 2.3.5 version did not resolve the problem with app_id.

The problem is that sooner or later security vulnerabilities will be discovered in 2.3.5 and we’ll all be forced to make a switch.

I dislike the new version. It’s much less efficient. These are my biggest issues:
You have to click a lot more if you want to make separate descriptions for different social networks; you can’t easily copy and paste and make edits – you have to go between tabs all the time.
The new meta description box doesn’t display the character limit anymore. Editing it requires extra clicks.
It’s calculating the reading ease test despite only a few words being in English.

Can anyone recommend a viable alternative to yoast?

I feel a bit lost as the where should I input my translation for accept. The plugin seems to take it from custom button anyway, and in my previous setup I was using 3 different buttons with different messages.
