Hi, I’m having this error on my site now https://www.symphonyoflove.net/blog. I didn’t make any changes to the wp-config file. I wanted to access it about 3 hours ago and it was showing that till now. How can we check if it is the database server down?

Or anyone has any idea where else it may be broken?

Esmi, thank you for the information. As of this morning, things seemed to go back to normal already and the pages are loading as usually.

Last night, there are times when I get message like “Error establishing Database connection” and then after that it would take unusually long to load up a page.

Before and after this issue, I did not make any changes in the site. The only thing is that yesterday I was getting a sudden increase of traffic due to Valentine Day and I was suspecting it to be the cause of it.

Timetorant, thank you for your help. I have another blog at https://www.symphonyoflove.net/blog but it did not have any problem loading.

Could a sudden spark in traffic be the cause of the issue of very slow loading till I have error of establishing to database connection?

Because it is Valentines Day and I usually experience significantly high traffic during this time.
