chatted with Hostgator and they showed that I was pointed to a wrong address…. I changed the A record in DNS and waiting for it to propagate. Thanks again for the help. I told ya I was a rookie:)

web hosting or DNS hosting? They are 2 different ones. Network solutions for DNS and H0stgator for web hosting.

I pointed my DNS days ago… Sometime last week.

“After you uploaded all of your wordpress files with your db info in config.php, when you initially went to your site, did you get the default wordpress install screen?”

I did the “quick install”… All I did was clicked the wordpress, clicked install, put in my domain in the box, entered host admin name, my name, and clicked install…. Should I have done something more?

This is what I have already done….. Since I have mail with a different host, I just edited the A records to this…..
