I have the same expectation, bought the Pro version so the pins would show differently based on category. I don’t want more than one category per Pin (doesn’t make sense, I’d do two pins).

I have another mapping system that I have a Lifetime License for, and it works as I expected this to, you pick the Pin for the location – not as a category .. but it does not allow for front end entry – hence my getting yours.

For now at least. I might have to re-think using yours if this cannot be made to work.

Oh this looks like it’s going to be a fun one. I have created 6 test pages in addition to the real page you looked at 1st.

Ignoring # 4 which is just strange silliness (watch the Radar load), but might be of interest to you anyway. (I’m retired Director of IT so I like to test all cases)

The fun one seems to be # 5 as whichever of the iframes is ON Screen when you refresh, it comes out right, but the other one gets squirrely.. and vice versa.

But this might be the case with the Original page as well, so I created a duplicate of it with Windy at the top. Which works.. with the assumption that it does because it is “on screen” Hmmm as we say.

I actually don’t want FooBox to be handling all the images, just the ones from the FooGallery. But, as soon as I saw your post, I did the Simpson head slap.

The key to the puzzle is in my message… TIME PASSED since the last need to put a FooGallery on a page.

It is totally my fault. I neglected to remember that I have FooBox set so the check box ON the page is “Include FooBox on this page or post? By default, FooBox will be excluded!”

A quick checkmark into the box and a cache flush and all is good now.

So sorry to have chewed up your time for my “Operator Error”… Sigh.

Yes, it does now allow NEW and EDIT fine.

I will have to delve into the Login State automation as I do currently use Synchronized Roles. Hopefully Synchronized will not go away too soon, I’m still not 100% LOL.

Now it does not work. I will try to do a screen recording in a few days to show you the issue I am running into.

Interesting I will try the CSS bit late tonight and let you know, if it works it would help in the mean time. I will post a feature suggestion in the Support area as well.

I have worked around the issue the hard way a while back..

But from your comment is interesting and also confusing. How could it be in the center of the screen or Under the Post. How would I have ever been able to know that, or even see it to move it back down into the side panel.

It still boils down to the plugin should not have allowed that to happen at all.

As I have gotten past the issue and moved on… I would close this thread. I only mentioned it because it is something the plugin should have never done.

FYI – Yes we have the Pro version – but as a Non-Profit (who does not pay for it).. hence having to ask questions here, as I was told was the proper thing to do in our case.

Thanks for looking at this, but it evidently has been resolved via an update and does not have this problem anymore.

I used to be able to recreate the issue with ease, now it will not do it. That’s a good thing.

I would just close out this thread.

I worked around it by doing a site restore to before I installed it. And then was Very careful to move it up slowly and not to the very top.

But the problem seems to be your plugin does not respect that it is at the top of the MetaBoxes already, and if someone clicks the ^ arrow one more time Poof it is gone. If you are at the top, the ^ should not appear.

My constant fear is that some other admin might decide to move it .. and accidently go too far up.

FYI I have NOT had this issue with any other plugin.

I went to another of my websites and installed the plugin, found the Menu item (very obvious there) and used that URL to make one for the site that the setting is missing in.

The settings page comes up fine, but of course is still not Listed in Settings.

So I can function for now, but really need it to appear in Settings, or to have a Settings option in the Plugins listing.

I added in the CSS you sent and it fixed the problem. I was even able to bring it down to 20px and it looks great now.

Now I can finally move on to the next task which is buying the Community module..
