I also had this error. My solution was to check .htaccess file. It was empty, so i added default WordPress code there and it worked:

RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]

I solved this problem.

I’ve got own header in my child theme (mostly for google fonts and font awesome codes). I’ve copied whole data from zerif-lite theme’s header, and pasted it into my child-theme’s header. Of course I’ve wrote again all the code of font awesome, google fonts etc. And… its works ??
