I told my friend (an ASP programmer)who’s helping me with the blog thing on MSN messenger to help me to see if .htaccess is there. What I said in the first post was the feedback from him.

The .htaccess thing has solved the breaking customized Permalink problem as well as the photo uploading problem in this page: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/67073?replies=5

By the way, the .htaccess is hidden and I’m using LeapFTP client, how to set to display .htaccess? I need to set the file’s permissions to 660.

I need to upload the pics to the server so that I can have a picture in the post.

The following post helps solve the photo uploading problem.I was because the .htaccess file was missing. That’s why I couldn’t upload photos to the server.

I followed the instructions in the above link and changed the permission of .htacess to 666. Then the problem has been solved.

Could you also help with the ploblem in uploading photos from my hard disk, which has been haunting me for a week. I still don’t have any clue.

Anybody knows how to solve the problem?
