Thanks Jose – I’ve contacted the plugin author who told me there was an update available. This solved my problem there.

However, I also upgraded to the newest WP version 3.9 and now I’m getting another fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_post_format_video

Any idea on that one? All plugins seem to work now again…

The problem is solved!

I contacted the host and he replied that the folder for temporary files was not existing on the FTP server. They created it for me and now I can finally upload images to my portfolio. ??

“Error saving media attachment.” when in Media>add new
“Missing a temporary folder.” when in Post>add media>insert media

I deleted the created folder and changed the permissions. It does not work with any of those permissions. The funny thing is, somehow WP did create the folder uploads on itself though.

What else can I do?
