How is your wordpress now anyway, do you have a lot of content or it wont hurt you if you re-install it?

You must of deleted something, what files did you edit?

So, export the database, and then import it to the new site, also use the plugins to change the paths of the links…

now!

1.install the new wordpress on the new site.
2.export the database from the old server
3.import the database, change the links, import the images

right?

So if I copy the whole wordpress file, change the config.php, and export/import the db to the new server.. everything will work?

So in order to transfer all the date from your old site to a new one you need to transfer the db too?

Well, this is what I did:
copied the whole wp folder that was used in the old site
and transferred it to a new site, change the config and I was missing:
different fonts, and all the posts content too

Whats the way to fix it?
Or whats the best way to copy it to another server and it looks the same!

So you are just trying to trasnfer the blog content and nothing else right?

thats what I did but I have some problems :

some of the posts’ pictures are not showing up,
and the fonts are different

is there a way that when I copy / transfer the wordpress to a different server everything will copy as it is on the old one?
