@icaro56!! I think I found the problem!! From what I have investigated, it seems that wp sends the emails through a PHP mail() function, but some hosting have that option disabled so the emails are not sent. The solution is to install a WP Mail STMP plugin and configure a different Mailer, here is a link that explains how to do it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wx-TZW7gY64&ab_channel=Oregoom, it is in Spanish but surely you can find one in Portuguese. It worked for me!
