Thanks for helping out here @badluck13!
@softfully, I’m afraid not. You’ll need to get the authorization code that way. Can you share a screencast of the problem?
Please let me know if it solves the issue. ??
Unfortunately I can’t answer that question. Your webhost should be able to help you out there.
What version did you update to?
Google Analytics by Yoast 5.2.6 should solve the prior issues.@karavera; have you deleted the whole folder /wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress? If so, there are no files left to cause a conflict, thus you should be able to enter your admin again.
@ravikiran248; afaik no comments are deleted.
What version of Google Analytics by Yoast are you running?
@scoobs890, can you send me an email on [email protected] with a screenshot of the screen you see?
I’m not super familiar with the webFTP of Dreamhost, but I think I’ll be able to help you solve this.@nicorel, if you deleted wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/ completely there isn’t any file left that can cause this error. Your admin shouldn’t be cached beyond browser-cache, so that should be solved by Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac).
You can also upgrade to the latest version of the plugin. That should solve the issue.
Scoobs890, does this article by Dreamhost help you?
https://wiki.dreamhost.com/FTP@btideman, can you follow the manual part of this guide?
Scoobs890, can you delete the plugin via FTP?
I’m quite sure your webhost will have a FAQ-entry how to use it on their servers. If not, please let me know.GoDaddy has written this article about it: https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/96/uploading-files-to-your-website-ftp?countrysite=uk
Does that help you?
skipshean, can you send an email to [email protected]?
