In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] SlimStat trying to contact wp-adminGees, some people!
But, despite the attitude, I did get the answer I was looking for.
Thanks, and yes, the plugin definitely gets a thumbs-up vote. It’s awesome.

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.0 problem: can’t edit pages from DashboardI had the same problem, and discovered the solution was an old copy of menu.php that I carefully replaced in /wp-admin after each update because it had links to two custom processes that were created for me that didn’t use a plug-in.
Apparently something changed in one of the versions, perhaps the way pages are found as james describes above. So my carefully saved old page didn’t work like the new one, and my pages list and editing disappeared—no surprise that.
Now I simply paste the two lines that reference my processes into the new menu.php code and everything works fine.
Yeah, I know. I will have it plugin-ized one of these days.

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Problem with thumbnailsI had the same problem but found that there were only a hand full of images that were the wrong size. Fixed each on by hand and that solved the problem.

In reply to: taxonomy.php on line 1014 error on file uploadstonpy: I meant add one to the list of people who have this problem.
My problem solved itself, oddly. It might have had something to do with e-commerce, but I can’t prove it one way of the other except to say that I have it disabled at the moment and don’t have the problem.
I have the same problem, and also recently installed e-commerce plugin, just for the record.
But then again, the problem just cleared up too! Shees! Sure wish I knew what I did!!!

In reply to: Tags Import As Numbers, Not WordsThank YOU! I’m now, or about to become, a happy camper.
The issue wasn’t an inability to make the patch, but I suspect we all were in a fog because the pieces of this puzzle were spread all around—the patch was referenced somewhere else, for example. (Not a complaint, just an observation).
