Thanks for the response figaro. I looked at the video and yes, that is excactly what I’ve been doing.

Strangest thing though, the browse view shows the correct hash, but when I go back in to edit, the function field is blank again, and there is a different hash. Clicking back to the browse view changes the good hash to the one in edit mode.

Cleaning up old files from a previous upgrade. It shows up at the top during a wpau instalation. But I don’t think thats the problem.

Hello? Am I in the right place? I have been in the database, manualy pasted my pw from the backup db, gotten new passwords, and the same thing is happening. The log in screen just clears itself.

I know that the password is good because if I try to use an old password it tells me it is invalid, but the new password just resets the login screen. Whats up with that?

does wordpress lock you out after failed logins? If so for how long?
