I solved my issue by deactivating all plugins that had anything to do with post teasers and post excerpts.

I had the same problem – which is why I found your post. I finally found a solution:

Get the “WP Facebook Like” plugin – it has a setting for priority placement after posts. Easy to work with and solves this problem.

Sorry I have not tested this with LinkWithin or Follow, but hopefully this offers a useful option.
