Twitter count doesn't show correct number of followers

Make sure the API keys are correct.
If it is incorrect you can not make the connection with the Twitter and thus will show the old value.

The API keys. Its been a while since I set it up. Where do I check for that please?

Tries to generate them again in the Twitter.

I understand but I can’t find where in the plugin settings to place them.

Under Settings > Social Count Plus, I have only 3 tabs – Setttings, Design & Shortcodes and Functions. I’ve looked through all three tabs again and again but cannot find where to set the any twitter API. Besides, I absolutely remember I didn’t have to do this for this particular plugin before it worked the first time.

I don’t see ANY of those API settings under “Settings”.

I wouldn’t have been asking if I had them. That means, for some reason, my copy of this plugin does not have these settings.

WHat do you suggest I do? Reinstall a fresh copy?

What your Social Count plugin version?
Are you sure you are using this plugin?

I see I have a version 2.2 and the current version is 2.8

Why does wordpress not notify me of the update?

Any changes to your WordPress probably.
