Elementor is a memory/resource hog that only gets worse the more you grow your website. Our page load times on average have doubled since we first started working with this plugin. It seems that with every 2 or 3 updates you get a fatal conflict causing you to have to rollback to find a previous working version until Elementor finally gets around to accepting they are at fault and fix it, if they ever do.
The final nail in the coffin for us is the fact that the space / buffer settings are so inconsistently displayed around page elements when you switch from PC to tablet to phone platforms.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME / MONEY WITH THIS PLUGIN

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More than Just a Page Builder] TerribleIt’s a terrible plugin. Not only are several functions difficult to find as you noted, the text editor widget constantly mishandles carriage returns / line breaks and the space / buffer settings around page elements are inconsistent and hard to format around many different page elements leading to some very weird page displays when you switch between PC to tablet to phone platforms.
And their C/S is AI based and basically useless.
Welcome to Elementor!
As you continually work on and grow your website, you will increasingly become familiar with the wonderful world of FATAL CONFLICTS that disable your website after every 2 or 3 updates. Not only that, they often take weeks to even accept they are at fault before finally work on fixing the problem. Add to that the inconsistent way the newest updates of Elementor apply the space and buffer settings around page elements when you switch between PC to tablet to phone platforms, rendering the plugin basically useless.
Don’t waste your time or money and DON”T put your website at risk with this crappy plugin.

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More than Just a Page Builder] TerribleIt is – it’s a memory/resource hog and is constantly causing conflicts with other plugins which they take their sweet time to accept and finally fix. Add to that their inconsistent space and buffer settings display around page elements when you switch from PC to tablet to phone platforms and it literally reduces the plugin to useless and a waste of time / money and ends up putting your website at risk.

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More than Just a Page Builder] AwfulWelcome to my world! They don’t seem willing or interested into looking into why their plugin is causing fatal conflicts with so many other plugins out there that we also have to use. Their customer service is mostly AI based until they tell you why they won’t refund you for not fulfilling their pre-sale promises.
Don’t waste your time or money with this plugin.

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More than Just a Page Builder] It’s good butIt’s also becoming a larger and larger resource hog, having doubled my page load times since I first started using the plugin. Their C/S sucks and it seems like every 2 or 3 updates it causes a fatal conflict with other plugins and we are constantly forced to rollback in search of a working version of Elementor until they finally get around to fixing it.
Elementor made some big shift about 8 or 9 months ago and now it seems like about every 2 or 3 updates my website crashes as their update causes a fatal conflict with other plugins. Worse yet, it’s taking them longer and longer to even accept that they are the source of the problem and actually address it, taking weeks and even over a month sometimes before they finally do fix it. Add to that the fact that this plugin is becoming an increasingly larger resource hog that is slowing down our page load times, it’s becoming practically useless.
And don’t even get me started on their customer service and refund policies which are useless and borderline criminal.
Welcome to Elementor – this is just one of the chronic problems that I have with Elementor and why I decided to eventually dump the plugin – it’s a huge resource hog, constantly in conflict with other plugins that force you to always rollback after updates and their C/S is AI based meaning it takes 5 or 6 attempts until you can finally get a human to read and address your problem, which they often don’t solve anyway.
Don’t waste your time or money with this plugin and don’t put your website at risk with Elementor.
I could write a book on all of the things that Elementor is supposed to do but it doesn’t. In trying to fix all these problems, the Elementor plugin has now grown into this huge monster that takes up a disproportionate amount of resources, has slowed my website down dramatically and is constantly in conflict with other plugins, forcing me to have to always rollback and wait for weeks until Elementor finally gets around to accepting it’s really their fault and fixing it.
NO thanks…
They screwed me over too for a hundred bucks. I had 3 websites using Elementor Pro but after getting tired of constant conflicts with my other plugins and always having to rollback to find a previous version that would work with no C/S support, I cancelled the subscription for all 3 websites, disconnecting them a few weeks before the renewal date. They reconnected one on their end and then billed me for another year for all 3. I of course complained immediately within minutes of being notified of the charge but they refuse to refund me.
They are FRAUDSTERS!

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More than Just a Page Builder] No supportAll of their C/S responses are AI generated meaning that you are talking to a computer that only generates canned responses which often have nothing to do with your problems you are having with their useless plugin.

It would no longer work after the update, no matter what I did. I was getting really frustrated so I completely deleted the plugin and did a clean installation of the new version of the plugin and it began working again.
