Hello Juan, thanks for your question. We have not thought about translating the plugin. If there is an interest in translations and we can get some help from the folks interested in translations, we definitely can put in the standard WP support for translations which would make things pretty simple.

Would you be interested in that?

    Thanks again, all the best.

Hi denicocc, we are in the process of reviewing several more fun alternatives for the plugin which we will release progressively over the next several months.

BTW: What kind of custom styling options are you looking for specifically?

Hello denicocc, thanks for your interest in our plugin and I apologize for the delay in answering. To the topic at hand, at some point we had shortcodes, I am not absolutely sure, but I believe we disabled them as they were very hard to get the icons to display properly in line with the text.

It may be that at some point in the next months we will sort out the style issues and then we’ll resurface the shortcodes, not sure of a timeframe however.

Hello again Orend, we fixed item number 2 among your requests. Now, for all custom buttons the sharing button opens a popup window. The only notable exception is Pinterest which we could not make it popup in its own window as it uses Pinterest’s custom javascript code, which looks for images in the page. Replacing that code would have left us in limbo land with regards to Pinterest, so we could not do the pop-up for that one.

We hope you like things look now.

Best and have a good weekend,

Hello Orend, thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately currently it is not possible to put the buttons on the sidebar, nor is it possibl to open the sharing button in its own window. Both of these are valid requests, so thanks for asking. In the near future we will be adding a few more features and we will look whether we can do these. I figure that number 2 will be easier.

Hi Chris, thanks for contacting us. If I understand correctly what you want to get to work is the snapskout offers plugin. Normally the plugin just works out of the box, however, the key trick is that it will only display if it is able to identify content that can be linked to offers in the content you publish, otherwise the plugin sits hidden.

In order to proceed forward, could you provide us a bit more info? We would need:

    – What theme are you running?
    – Which server / OS?
    – Which WP version.
    – Your wp site address.

I would suggest you send us this information instead of sharing it in this public forum. You can email us directly at [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you.

    Thanks again

Hi Exosskeletor, thanks for your message. Unfortunately our ability to have the FB like button play well with other buttons is limited because FB has strict policies regarding the look and feel of the FB like specifically. Namely, the only way to display it is in FB style and it would not look very well with our other buttons. As such, for the time being, the only button set in which we offer FB like is in our default button set, which is the simplest one that uses the button provider’s code in each button and as such has sometimes a bit of a harder time with styling, as one button does not necessarily play well with the next as they are maintained by different companies. It is still possible though, by playing with CSS styles.

As to all the other button styles, which may have different shapes and colors, they are our buttons and we control the styling completely, these do include *only* the Facebook share because FB does not have such strict policies regarding share.

Best and thanks for trying our plugin.

@jklapel: We researched this and as mentioned before, og: tags are used by facebook to better identify and represent content you “like”. Nevertheless, as of v1.0.7, we made a small change that allows you to opt-out of the Open Graph tags. Visit the settings / account options section if you want to disable open graph tags.

    Best and thanks.

Hi, thanks for reporting this and I am sorry for the inconvenience. This seems related to opengraph tags, which are needed by FB. In any case, we will look into this and follow up with a better answer.

    Once again, thanks!
