any suggestions on this please?

hi there, to add to this thread. i understand the reasoning to push forwards the technologies in use and how animations are created etc.
however, we have an issue now – we’ve just upgraded a site and have also added SSL (https) to the domain (which clearly most sites are now doing). however, the legacy animations reference images from http rather than https so now visual slide box is holding up our full transition to https.

any thoughts/suggestions on this? how could we force the images in the VSB anims to be served from https (ideally withouth have to rebuild them all? (we’re using a “mixed content” SSL plugin already, which has fixed everything else on the site).

i’ve got this sorted now – easy enough – there’s a checkbox in the setting for geomashup:
“Copy Geodata Meta Fields” – i needed to check that.

have seen this reply a few times now – but i think we need more than this – i’m using a pretty up-to-date theme which previously worked ok, have simply upgraded wordpress and CF7 which between them seem to have thrown up this response box visibility issue. yes it could be pushed back to ‘the theme’ (and i have written the the theme developer about this) but there are enough forum messages here about this issue to make it in CF7’s interest to investigate/solve or at least provide some concrete pointers for admins/theme devs etc.

at the moment i’ve got legacy builds that need fixes for this issue one way or another, but after years of using CF7 i’m going to be looking elsewhere for new setups unless this gets fixed pretty quickly.

this would properly cover things off from my perspective on this)

wow – thanks for the speedy update! i’ve updated to 2.1 but for some reason i’m not seeing the download count anywhere. when you say ‘the product page’ do you mean front-end or back-end? thb i’d rather see this stat on the back-end product listing page rather than front-end page product detail page.

it would be nice to be able to define *exceptions* i.e. pages that *don’t show* the social links e.g. the site homepage, contact page…

any thoughts on this – the non-carousel slider right hand arrow is fine by the way – it’s just the right arrow on carousels!

i’ve just discovered it’s the W3 minify option that’s the problem. i can run W3 with page, db and browser caches turned on, but if i use minify it kills the edge content.
