Hi, interestingly, when I changed the “body font” it did change. But note that there is a “menu font” which is what I was trying to make happen. Possibly this is a translation issue on my part–I take “body font” to mean int eh main body of the site or content that is not sa title of any kind. In any case it did change–I just see this as being a problem down the road when I add content.

Also, can you please tell how it’s possible to save an old copy to the public? When I change something and “publish” it doesn’t that save it to the public and overwrite previous versions?

Thanks all, this has been resolved. I went into the code on my server and edited it using texteditor. All gone…but the website is back in style, Yay!

Update: actually using WP 4.1.4.

Also, please note: The plugin creates a URL/page automatically-I’m assuming the page where you are supposed to insert the PAY button. However, I already had a page with PAYPAL option and wanted to add the STRIPE button on the existing page as an alternative. So, I changed the automatically created URL/Page to the existing page’s URL.

does anyone see that as potentially the problem?

BTW, it is probably important to mention that this went to my admin email address at my webhost. Weird?

Can someone please help me understand why it should two hours to change color? I’ve looked for this: .widget-area .sidebar-primary .widget
and I’ve done this:

I don’t have access to the site anymore, but I used a css plugin, like

Then add this code:

.widget-area .sidebar-primary .widget {
background-color: ff6600;
}
And still, its blue. Seriously. I think I am going to have to change themes unless somehow this gets easier really fast.

Thank you so much! I installed WP via my cpanel at MIdphase and had NO idea that that process set up a XXX.com/wp-admin site. Thankfully your responses gave me some recall of a site I had years ago and I was able to go to the new admin site through WP and follow your instructions. Seriously, you would think Softaculous could just say “Go to XXX.com/wp-admin your new WP admin site to chose a theme and etc…” A definite missing link. Dang!
