  • Hi @pdhumanist,

First of all, Thanks for using this plugin. Let me tell you what I understand from your support request are –

    1. First you have add multiple list with a contact form and you have tested by subscribing from contact form, your test email got into multiple list of mailpoet as you wanted to.

    2. Than you have removed that subscriber from mailpoet subscribers list manually.

    3. Than you edited your contact form and set only one list out of all lists of your current setup.

    4. Than you have tested again that form by using same email address ( I guess, if not than please let me know ) which you have used previously. Now you saw that subscriber is add to all list Instead only one list.

right ? If so, than you will have to remove your subscriber permanently. What you are thinking of deleting is actually moving to Trash. If any subscriber entry move to trash, it will not show in Subscribers section of Mailpoet but it will still bring previous information when subscribe newly.

So, in short, if you want to delete a subscriber , you must clear your trash after moving them to trash. Also Mailpoet has a option to remove a subscriber from all lists, you can use this option from a drop down top of the subscriber table which says ‘Bulk Actions’.

Let me know if your current situation is different.

    Thanks,
    Tamim

Exactly what url your redirect to , if you visit /wp-admin/install.php path of your site , you will see it will notice about wordpress is already installed.

    Hi @pdhumanist,

    Regarding

Ah and how do I reset a plugins settings? Uninstalling didn’t work.

Just save your settings that will do the resetting things ??

Is there a limit like “3 bounces and there wont be outgoing mails to this address anymore”?

It is something you have to configure using Mailpoet plugin itself. Our plugin doesn’t control the “Mail sending”. In future we will add rules like if “email detracted bounced 3 times in a row, it will be moved to extreme bounced list”, after than you can configure Mailpoet to not to send email to that particular list subscriber.

    – Please add “Action taken” to the log.

It will be limit challenging, for a bounced reason there could be many actions set. If there is action for one reason than we could do that easily. However, currently we are working to make this features available. When it’s done we will let you know .

    – Please give us the ability to manually unset the ‘Bounced’ status back to ‘not confirmed’ and to set it the other way around.

I didn’t actually get this part. If you want to change a subscriber status manually, you can do that from Mailpoet plugin list page or by editing that subscriber right? So, why do you need that in our plugin.

So, feel free to ask us any questions / feature requests . We will patiently review your query.

    Thanks,
    Tamim

Hi @kptkip, Glad to know it’s working. Schedule is bound to wp_cron.php execution only.

Hi @pdhumanist, A new version ( 1.3.0 ) of this plugin just released. Please update your version to current and after updating please visit plugin settings page and change all settings again as your needs than hit save change.

This is very important, last version of plugin didn’t able to removed unused settings properly. so please reset the plugin settings, this problem will be fixed, I hope.

Finally, please let us know if this works properly.

BTW, In this version, they’ve improved the log page. Now you can sort your log by id, email and bounced reason. Also you can search log table by email or bounced reason. Let us know if you like it.

Hi , can you please reinstall this plugin and check if the problem occur again ?

Can you please reinstall “Bounce Handler MailPoet 3” plugin and test if it works?

Hi @jdembowski, Sure! I didn’t much aware about the rules, however my intense was to help user anyway possible. Here in support, plugin users face some problems those aren’t caused by the plugin where they looking for support. Sometime conflict caused by other previously installed plugin and people tend to blame new plugin.

IMO, to solve a problem perfectly, support seeker must show full use case of problem like how the problem occur, which other theme/plugin they are using etc.

    Hi @craftspeed,

I have installed woocommerce, mailpoet 3 , Add-on WooCommerce – MailPoet 3 plugin in a fresh and existing wordpress installation. I didn’t face the problem which you did. That’s why I can’t able to find out where the problem. Can you please deactivate ( or uninstall if possible ) all plugins and reactivate to see if that problem still occur.

Technically is_checkout() function must be accessible from any parts of wordpress code ( e.g theme / plugins ) if the Woocommerce plugin is installed and functioning. So, there is no way is_checkout() function could occur a fatal error.

    Thank you

    Hi @craftspeed,

is_checkout() is a Woocommerce function https://docs.woocommerce.com/wc-apidocs/function-is_checkout.html . So, if Woocommerce is not installed in your system only than this function could generate a fatal error. Can you please tell me, when exactly get this message ? (e.g during installation of our plugin or any scenario). Also make sure your are using latest version of this plugin.

    Thanks,
    Tamim

Hi @mamekichi, this plugin is not working properly with few particular theme, that’s confirmed. Due to this problem , we improved and updated our code recently. I will request you all to download and activate new version of this plugin.

    Thanks

Hi @mamekichi, I have visited your page -> https://xyz.mamekichi-an.com/checkout/ . It seems to me, you have modified your theme and because of that this problem occurred. What I am guessing, somewhere in your theme file, you must have written “woocommerce_after_order_notes” hooks multiple times. This hook is responsible for printing checkbox in order form. If you use this hook multiple times in your theme for any reason, result will be just like current situation.

You can find more about woocommerce checkout shipping information form in here -> https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/template-structure/ and the corrosponding file is located in “plugins/woocommerce/templates/checkout/form-shipping.php”

Hi @mamekichi, Thanks for your effort. I understand this very essential for your purpose but still we have no clue about this problem. After seeing your site language as Japanese we did changed our test site language to Japanese. But, plugin running smoothly here as expected.

Now, we suspect your theme could be customized version of storefront. Can create a different test wordpress installation and test with storefront, see if that works. Also you can send me your theme as zip file, so I can test it in my server.

Also, if possible you can get me your site access. I can investigate and fix it live.
