At the moment your css does not valadate
https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator-uri.html
for example very small is not a correct font size. x-small is what you are looking for.
If I look at your site in 800×600 or 1280x 1024 it looks fine. However is 800*600 you picture banner at the top is too wide for the page. Im using OSX and firebird.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: taking control of #menuWith the font problem IE does silly things with fonts.
Your menus are very hard to use on Linux as well. I have found that using size tags such as small or meduim etc is far better than 70%Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: CSS markup a little “busy” in Word PressI agree it is a mess, but I fugure the author did it for a reason. There is also the pain of certain tags coming from the php as well (such as certain list tags)
I spent some time trying to make sense of what was going on and just started again. grep makes it easy to find where the tags are coming from and remove them.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Trackbacks errorTrackbacks can be odd. When I was running b2 my blog only showed a few trackbacks. When I moved the blog over to WordPress the number doubled. The entries in MySQL seemed fine. I’m yet to really test them with my new wordpress install.

In reply to: The real procedure to upgrade from b2 (hopefully :Hi George
Thanks for the advice. I was running to latest version of B2 but it still failed. I downloaded WP from CVS, used a few hacks from various posts on the site and my blog is now moved.
However I cannot login. If I create a new user they also cannot login and everytime I have my password emailed to me it changes. I have tried putting a blank password in to the mysql users field with no luck. Any ideas how I can solve this problem?Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: WP 1.2?Hi
Tried that George but no luck. I thought I had it, I even got upgrade-01-to-072.php from the CVS but when it finished my site was full of SQL errors. I will have another go tomorrow. *sigh*
I really want this to work, but there are several different ways of doing it listed on this forum and non of them seem to solve my problems. Are others having problems upgrading from b2?Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: The real procedure to upgrade from b2 (hopefully :Sorry, but when I follow these instructions, after running import-b2.php I get the message
It doesn’t look like you’ve installed WP yet. Try running install.php.
I’ll keep working on itForum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: WP 1.2?Sorry, I should have said 1.1
