I finally found the Custom CSS section which is hidden at the very bottom of Leaf Options. I put in the code

.site-header {padding: 0.0rem;}
.site-header img {padding: 0 0 0 00px;max-width:210%;float:left;}

as had been suggested on other posts (obviously I didn’t want any padding on my header) and it worked.

Note though, the header is no longer responsive on the mobile site, but oh well.

Don’t worry, the whole thing crashed and I reinstalled everything and they came back. Sigh. I really hate wordpress.

Yes the text box worked. Thanks! Sorry to be a pain (I’m new to this) but do you know what (and where) I’d put in the CSS to style the font, etc so that it’s the same as my site?

Hmm, I activated the child theme and now the site sits under a blank box. ?? I followed the installation instructions on the developer’s site. Any ideas what went wrong there? thanks

Hi. I’m also having a fun time trying to get the homepage slider to work.

PT2Go, the templates drop down to choose custom home page template is on the bottom right from pages/all pages/edit/ (the drop down menu is under Template)

I’ve found these instructions on the template express website, but it’s very light on for those of us who are not coders or developers.
