It worked perfectly! Thank you so much for the help!
Tanya
Thank you. I have looked, but I can’t see how to do this. I can find ‘Site Identity’ and ‘Site Layout’ but neither will allow me to make the changes I want to.
With my theme, the only place I can access CSS (as far as I can tell) is ‘Additional CSS’. I have never found a way to make changes to the CSS, but what I have done successfully in the past is copy and paste a small section of CSS into ‘Additional CSS’.

In reply to: Site title has gone over two lines (I don’t want it to!)Thank you Steve! It worked perfectly!
[For the benefit of anyone searching the forum later: I just added this code below the previous code that Steve supplied.]
Thanks again!

In reply to: Site title has gone over two lines (I don’t want it to!)Hope it’s OK to add a follow-up question, as I have realised the text still isn’t centred like it used to be.
Is there any code that can be used to centre the text? It appears correctly on this site (which uses the same theme): https://tsresearchassistant.com/
Many thanks,
Tanya

In reply to: Site title has gone over two lines (I don’t want it to!)Hi Steve,
Thank you so much for your help! It has worked.
This is my first time using CSS, as I’ve never been able to work out how you actually change the CSS. My theme has a Custom CSS option but it’s basically a blank space and I didn’t know how to use it. I have finally figured out that you paste the code into it, it shows you a preview, and if you are happy you click save. (Which probably seems obvious to others, but I expected a page full of code that I would amend, not a blank sheet where I can add new code!)
Thanks again for your help,
Tanya

In reply to: Comments not showing up on blog posts – even though enabledHi Sami,
I am using a PC with Windows 10.
I am using the latest version of Chrome. (I’m away on holiday at the moment so I can’t check the version number, but I do know it’s set to update automatically so will definitely be the latest version.)
I also tried Firefix (latest version) and had the same problem.
Also using Safari on my iPhone and having the same problem there as well.
Thanks,
Tanya

In reply to: Comments not showing up on blog posts – even though enabledHi Sami, unfortunately the problem remains, I still can’t see the comments box at all. The other night it did appear briefly and then I lost it again!

In reply to: Comments not showing up on blog posts – even though enabledSomething has happened and it is actually fixed now!! I mentioned that I had seen and approved your comment within WordPress, but that it wasn’t showing. Shortly after posting that, I found a notification email in my junk folder saying the comment needed moderating, so I went in and approved it again through that. The comment then showed up, I deleted it, and the comment box finally appeared!
Thanks so much for your help.

In reply to: Comments not showing up on blog posts – even though enabledSorry for the delay there (as my computer was doing updates so I’d restarted it!) I’ve always used Facetime so I’m not on Skype, and ever since changing my keyboard a while back I have lost the functionality to do a screenshot. If it helps at all I can tell you what is ticked/unticked or answer any questions, but I don’t know if that’s any good to you.

In reply to: Comments not showing up on blog posts – even though enabledHi Sami, thanks for your help. I have cleared the cache, also tried a different browser, but still can’t see anything. No comments box, and can’t see your comment either. The comments box is ‘without login’.

In reply to: Comments not showing up on blog posts – even though enabledHi, just to follow up on this – I have asked a couple of other people and they cannot see the comments box on the blog post either.
Does anyone know why girlieworks would be able to see it, when myself and others can’t?
Thanks.

In reply to: Comments not showing up on blog posts – even though enabledHi,
Thanks for getting back to me. This is really strange! I can’t see the comments form, and that’s whether I view the site through Chrome, Firefox, or on my iPhone. (I’ve just checked all three again to make sure I wasn’t going mad!)
Well, I’ll check with friends & family to find out if they can see it. Not something I’d thought to do, as I was just working on the assumption that if I couldn’t see it, no-one else would be able to!
It was just blog posts I wanted to add comments on, not the other pages (although thanks for instructions there – will save for future reference!) There is just the one post, as the site only went up about a week ago and I only finalised it yesterday morning!
Well, I’m baffled, but at least all my settings are presumably right. A mixed blessing because then I’m not sure what I can do to fix it!
Thanks a lot for your help.
