Hey, thanks for the response! Wasn’t expecting one just tossing out a couple thoughts ??

2 – Awesome! I have over 2000 images, and I didn’t implement this until recently. Its to much to go through and add media categories all at once. If I could choose a “uncategorized filter”, id categorize 5-10 each time I do a post so that in time they all are ??

1 – Ill try to explain better. Im using “media categories” I can go into the dashboard and add categories in the dashboard (by add I mean create brand new ones).

But say im creating a new post, I choose “add media”, and upload an image. If I want to give it a media category of “screenshot” and if I had not already created the media category of “screenshow” in the dashboard, I have to go do that.. If there was an option to “add new category” underneath the category options in this window, it would be handy.

Sort of like is native to WordPress for “add new category” when creating a new post. Make sense?

Although Im concerned ill eventually have way to many categories and ill be scrolling down the screen forever *chuckles*.

The program has become very helpful though, thank you for creating it!

    Thank you

    Very cool, thank you!

Same issue here. Will probably delete the plugin as a result. I need something that tags or categorizes images in the media library AND that lets you filter by them in the “add media” option of a post. Whats the point of categorizing media if you cant use the categories to find the media when you need to?

P.S. – just a couple of suggestions, or at least things Id love to see long term.

Getting a post date is the most important thing for me.

But other features i think would be awesome (I also understand the need for minimalism in a guestbook though, so maybe as options).

optional web site address field (to help encourage people to use the guest book, and to view what their web based projects are).

An optional Location/from field (I get traffic from all over the world – id love for people that visit the site to be able to see that at a glance).

And a count. So the oldest first signature would show as #1 and the most recent might be #137. This is handy as it lets people know at a glance how many people have signed the book (although that could be embarrassing *chuckles*)

I wouldn’t want anything beyond those options because then it becomes to complex for what its meant for.

I was using Lazaurs as an external application Problem is it wants a bit TO MUCH information, and its not mobile friendly ??

Anyway just friendly thoughts and suggestions. Thank you for your time, I really do appreciate the people that put this stuff out for others to use! Its utterly extremely rare I ever ask for a feature request…*thinks* second time in 2 years i think.

Hello. Ive spent the last hour or two playing with different guestbook plugins. None of them meet my needs. This one is the closest. The one thing Its missing is as Lisia indicated, a date the comment was made (although an optional web site address could be good as some people like the advertisement and so are more likely to sign the guest book knowing theyll get a link out of it).

I also was also unable to figure out a way to contact you on your web site.

If youve made that plugin and could email it to me at stile at thecaverns dot net that would be fantastic! Or if you can indicate what code to add and where?

Just something where after the comment it states “submitted on: date”. The information is in the “manage entries” section of the settings so I think it would just be a call function to display it?

Unfortunately i cant code well enough to determine what line(s) of code i would need to add or where in the plugin to have it display the info.

Thank you for your consideration. I appreciate you sharing this plugin with the community.

P.S. I have deactivated all my plugin’s to trouble shoot to see if any of them where the cause of any of these issues. All the issues continued, so I have eliminated that as the concern.

Thank you very, very much! That did the trick!! I had tried adding a target blank in a couple of times, but it wasn’t working.. apparently because I was putting it in the wrong place. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and assisting.

One more thing i can take off my project list, which I GREATLY appreciate. Now, just need to figure out why after publishing a post it goes to a white screen.
