Ah, there was a PHP update on the server this morning. I’ll look into it later.
It’s not a problem for us right now, because as I wrote NextGEN works okay , it’s just the button which is not that important on this particular site.

I updated from one version prior to this one and when I deactivate my other plugins the issue remains.
I use the twentytwelve theme.

I created a category-agenda.php file that referred to content-agenda.php and removed <?php the_content() ?> from that file. And this did indeed the trick.

That’s good news, but how do I install the update? When I use the WP installer I get the message: The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found. And your own Installer plugin doesn’t says my 3.1.4 WPML CMS is up-to-date.

Seems like an issue with WPML (3.1.4), when I disabled the plugin the media manager worked again.

I read that, thanks. Bit I don’t understand it. It says:
get_template_part( ‘content’, get_post_format() );

Do I have to add a content_new.php and change the above line into:
get_template_part( ‘content_new’, get_post_format() ); ?

I was not asking for ideas, I was wondering in which version WordPress expects to add post ordering. I’m not going to code this myself. As long as ordering is not possible I stick to Joomla.

Oh, I want something that is completely normal: just change the posts in the list with posts. Like it is done in WPML for instance.
It surprises me that WP hasn’t integrated this yet.

Yes, that’s how a blog works. And that is what I’m saying: WordPress is used for other purposes than blogging, “WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog”. Still it isn’t suited for creating a website as long as it is not possible to order Posts (which are articles on a website) as you like.
I do know how WP works and do know how to work with pages. But when I want several articles on one webpage, I need posts that can be ordered.
And yes, there are plugins for this. None work okay and it needs to be a core function.

It took some time, but I did solve it. In the style.css of minileven I found the class: .page-title and gave that display: none.

And it still isn’t shown. I’m afraid I’ll have to install another widget.

But a recent feed that is shown on Twitter is not shown in the Minitweet widget? How come? is was posted 20 hours ago.
