But I already saw this page and I use Pipes in my drop-down menu. Thanks to Pipes, I can add several addresses to my drop-down menu list.

it will depend on the theme you use for your site. There are some themes that allow the display of the sidebar on the homepage.
But in this case the width of your slider will be reduiced.

I’d put the search form in the header part. It will be more visible and will not reduice the width of your home page.
