@filip: I have TWO tickets related to this (one which is marked “Escalated”), and have documented this problem in excruciating detail. The older of the tickets is from JUNE.

All I keep getting back is “our developers are still working on it”. Even the 4.9.16 update, which claims to have improved PHP 8.0 support, did not fix this issue.

(Also, your ticketing system keeps failing to post replies, but that’s a whole separate issue.)

I can’t downgrade sites to PHP 7.4; other companies were trying to steal my clients from me with scare tactics about how PHP 7.4 is end-of-lifed and insecure.

PLEASE FIX THIS!

There are multiple galleries on this page, and when I got to the end on one and click on the right arrow, it proceeded onto the next one instead of circling back to the beginning of the current one.

This happened when upgrading from version 2.3.5 to 2.4.0. Downgrading the plugin back to 2.3.5 caused the issue to go away (but I also had to downgrade the “Lightcase” premium extension back down to 1.3.2). So right now it’s not happening because my client complained about this behavior, which is why I had to roll back.

Curiously, though, I was not seeing this issue on @xnoop’s example URL. Were you able to fix it? Or did you downgrade back to 2.3.5 as I did?

Just ran into this myself today as well. Going to drop a support ticket on ManageWP.

This seems to be the source of the issue, according to the error log on Pantheon:

This is the best country access restriction out there. Not having it (it has also been removed from wpackagist) has been a pain since I use it to manage access restrictions on over 2 dozen client sites.

Is it coming back soon, or do I have to look for another solution?

I don’t know if it was the 5.5.0.1 update, or that I’ve hit save settings a dozen times on both the plugin and permalink pages, but it appears to be working now.

I’ve been running into the same problem, and I’ve narrowed down the problem on my site to Advanced Custom Fields Pro.

The problem seems related to admin-ajax.php; with both Soliloquy Lite and ACF Pro active, if I try to delete a slide, I get a 403 error in the JavaScript console on that file.

Also, in the course of debugging, if Soliloquy Lite was active and ACF Pro wasn’t, ACF Pro _wouldn’t_ activate if I tried. I could only activate ACF Pro if Soliloquy Lite was inactive, and once both were active again, Soliloquy Lite’s problems started up again.

You can use the Classic Editor plugin to restore the legacy content editor to your WordPress 5.0 site.
