I didn’t merge the two snippets of code together properly…I told you it would be user error! Thanks for the help, and to Kafkaesqui for the advice on the other thread.

I couldn’t quite paste the code right above, I’ll keep plugging away – no doubt it’s an error on my part.

But welcome abroad, I’m certainly happy I went with WordPress ??

ASO are great. Their support is unbelievable and they seem to be very customer orientated, even going so far as to stop accepting new customers awhile back until they were sure they could handle the increased load.

I was a very happy customer but switched to Dreamhost (affiliate link) simply because they provided so much for the money. I don’t regret the move, DH have been very good for me, but I do miss the fruit a bit a sometimes ??

I’ve always been a fan of this OSX Tiger inspired admin theme.

I like it, the theme is nice and simple. The colour scheme is soothing and conveys that it is a Mac site (if you’re a Mac user I guess).

Saying that I find the buttons confusing, as you expect them to do something.

I have no qualms with the usability of the site, just the looks. All the grey makes the site feel very drab.

And surely you want to convey a sense of fun, shouldn’t blogging be fun? ;-p

Whilst the site does indeed work fine, I don’t really feel like it adds anything to the WP “brand”.

It doesn’t look particularly inviting, simple or fun. Compare it to the Blogger website for example.

We all know and love WP and may think that the website is not overly important and it isn’t compared to the actaul platform itself, but hey, you only get one chance to make a good first impression and all.
