In reply to: [Storefront] Storefront Theme version 1.4.5I just watched a lynda.com video that showed me how to install the theme from my desktop. You can mark this thread resolved. Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Next button missing in product categoriesThanks, lorro. My current Storefront Theme is 1.4.4 and that is all I see available to me when I go into WordPress under themes. Where do will I find the 1.4.5 version? I’ve spent many hours over the past couple weeks searching for help with this issue. You’ve given me some hope, if I can just follow through and find the 1.4.5 version. I deleted and reinstalled Storefront, but it is still the 1.4.4 version. Ack.

In reply to: [Storefront] Pages don't show up in menuIssue continues. If I add a product to my main menu (primary menu) inside the menu structure, then other main menu navigational categories disappear. I.E. if I add a photo cuff, then my “cart” disappears in the main menu (this after being there BEORE I added the cuff. The main menu now only holds my “shop” page and won’t let me add my “cart,” “checkout” etc. I’ve had to add all that to my secondary menu (submenu) instead. Not where these items need to be. Someone must be having the same issues. It has been months now that this is happening. HueDew.com

In reply to: [Storefront] Pages don't show up in menuHard to understand how I could be adding pages to the wrong menu as they were showing up properly until about a month ago. I will make an entirely new menu and make that one active and see what it will do.

In reply to: [Storefront] Pages don't show up in menuMy navigation menus show up. That is not the problem. The problem is that the pages (legal, blog, etc.) no longer show up in the menu as they once had. I still have “store, cart, checkout, contact and about,” but no longer have “legal, portfolio, etc). I can’t get those pages to stay in the menu structure after adding them into the structure and saving. I get only five pages to show up (any five) OR ALL of the pages show up in the navigation menu. This is true whether I am using the TwentyFourteen OR the Storefront themes.

In reply to: [Storefront] Pages don't show up in menuI guess I don’t know what you are asking when you ask me if I have assigned menus to location? Could the navigation menu have worked for the past year without me doing that? I’m not being sarcastic, I’m asking. To what location should I be assigning the menus?

In reply to: [Storefront] Pages don't show up in menuI had the navigation menus working fine for a year, so I believe that must mean they were assigned in my original theme (TwentyFourteen) and now in Storefront. >Appearance>Menus>Pages> and then I dropoped them into Menu Structure. The menu structure will not save the changes of the added pages that had disappeared out of the blue. I switched to Storefront hoping the issue would be resolved, but it doesn’t appear to be a theme issue as my navigation menus still don’t have the pages I load into the menu structure.

In reply to: Twenty-Fourteen navigation menu issuesTo simply, pages are no longer showing up on menus. Menu will only display four or five pages now. Worked fine until 2 weeks ago. Any attempts to add pages back into menu does not work. They just disappear.

In reply to: Twenty-Fourteen navigation menu issuesIs there no one out there who can help me with my issues regarding the menus not displaying the pages that had once been displaying fine? Here is what I wrote two weeks ago.
My main menu was up and running for about a year without issue. On the top navigation and sidebar menues all my pages that I wanted seen were there. For example, About, Legal (three submenues), Contact, Shop, Cart, Portfolio, etc. It is now not working properly as described in my post.
I have tried to add back into the menu the Legal pages by doing this in the dashboard: Edit Menus>Pages>View All> and select the pages that disappeared>Add to Menu. I positioned them into the Menu Structure and clicked “Save menu,” and clicked “top primary menu” and “secondary menu in left sidebar.”
After doing this, the navigation menu displays EVERY page (even the ones that were NOT added to the menu structure) across the top of the page, and I lose the secondary menu in left sidebar.
When I go back to Appearance>Menus, the menu structure does not show the pages I put back in it and the “top primary menu” and the “secondary menu in left sidebar” is no longer selected. If I click on them and save the menu, I am right back where I started with only the five pages being displayed in both navigation bars.
Please help. I have gone through my plugins and deactivated all of them and nothing changed. I deactivated my child theme and that didn’t work either.

I just updated my Google Analytics Dashboard plugin to 4.4 and now it does not display any data in my WP Twenty-Fourteen dashboard. The headers are there: “Sessions,” “Users,” “Page Views,” “Bounce Rate,” “Organic Search,” and “Pages/Session,” but there is no data. It was working fine before the update. I am using WP vs 4.0.1 Help. I am not a programmer, so please don’t be too technical in your answer. I made the plugin inactive and then went through the authorization process again hoping that would solve the problem. It did not. I pasted in the access code where it required it. Thanks for any guidance on my missing data.

In reply to: Twentyfourteen Missing Updated Structured DataI also am using Twenty Fourteen and Google Webmaster Tools (under structured data > hatom (markup: microformats.org) gives me “missing: author” and “missing: updated” errors on my blog entries and more. Any direction on how to fix these errors on my pages would be great. I checked and the “author” field is completed on the posts or pages. I have no idea what it is asking me when it comes to “missing: updated.” Please advise. Please!

In reply to: [Stripe for WooCommerce] credit card decline errorGreat, Jedifunk. Yesterday, my site worked and today it didn’t. I turned off test and purchased a small item from my website and it went through fine. I did the same yesterday and it worked, so I don’t know why it stopped working today. I was unaware that Stripe provided “test” credit card numbers or I would have done that. We’ll see how long my site works now. Oh, I updated my WooCommerce latest version today and now Stripe works … again. I have absolutely no IT background, so all of this is new to me. Thanks for your insights.

In reply to: [Stripe for WooCommerce] credit card decline errorI wonder if it has to do with “force secure checkout?”
I went to WooCommerce>Settings>Checkout. I did not have the “force secure checkout” checked on my WordPress site. I do have the SSL certificate and have been up and running with the secure site for months.
Now I can see the stripe payment method in my cart and at checkout. I turned off the “turn off testing” after still getting “card declined.”
With testing off, I now get the error message: “Error: Failed to process the order, please try again later.”
