no, it doesnt create any db.
it connects to WordPress DB and can manage only it.
whatever tables you have in your site DB, will be shown in PhpMyAdmin.

When we have a time for next update, will test the issue.

There is nothing suspicious. It’s just your theoretical concern about dependency management.
In addition, getting zero feedback (just only due to some theoretical statement), in my opinion, is a total disgracefulness to the hard work done for this plugin, while there is no malicious code in plugin, and moreover, you will never find it in our plugins.

however, everyone is welcomed for feedback.

however, about topic:

in your previous reply, i could have had more agreement with your (that) reply, but after explaining our justification, you now made a more radical statement, in which, i would totally disagree with you (in your previous reply, i could have agree on some parts at least, and replied you).

so, I won’t argue with you. you can abandon using our plugins. The only thing that we are preparing, it to create the uninstaller hook.

Due to the problems I’ve found with the plugin (i’ve followed, but was unable to setup on my local-site),
I’ve created a small plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/redirect-by-cookie/

(note, my plugin uses “injection” into wp-config, to make the cookie-based redirection as earliest action for redirecting, causing about 200-500ms achievement, compared to other plugins, that hook redirections at init(10). )

SO, if you will ever include that functionality of that plugin into yours, I will gladly depreciate mine and redirect my page/users to yours. (you can directly merge all code as a separate class into yours or as you prefer, you are totally free).

in the meanwhile, I will use mine plugin.

I’ve fixed and committed the updated plugin! you can update now without need to manually modify the file.

would be nice if there was individual option to enable/disable the compressed image showing (with picture tag) on specific pages/posts. so, if chosen that option, then that particular page should show the original content (without replaced <picture> tag)

As i think the plugin should not trim the parameters (width, height, or other) from img element.

i’ve tried Imagify and it did quite much more efficient conversions.. while EWWW left many images “wihtout any reduction” or smaller percents, imagify performed untold better. dont know what you use, but i switched to imagify .. however, that plugin has no way near as excellent settings page as yours.
